Your Name: If you submit more than one file, try to use the same exact name each time you submit files or tutorial. Users will be able to search for files by Author, and using the same name each time will assure that they can find your files more easily.
Upload Main File: This file needs to be in .ZIP format (for maximum compatibility, and minimum download time). Try to make sure that the file name is unique (adding your username to the beginning of the ZIP file is a great way to do this). Files with duplicate filenames will produce an error when trying to upload.
Upload Example SWF: Please try to provide an example SWF file whenever possible - viewers like to see what they are downloading ahead of time. Compressing these files is also appreciated (eg. removing large background audio tracks from templates). Again, please try to give the SWF file a unique filename.
Height, Width, and Version: These fields are only necessary if the preview SWF file is in SWF6 format. Height, Width, and Flash Player Version will be detected automatically for SWF5 and SWF4 files.
File Title: It would helpful if the title of your file or tutorial was short yet descriptive.
Category: Use your best judgment when selecting a category. If the administrator feels your file would be better suited in a different category - it will be moved accordingly.
Created With: This will let the viewer know which particular version of a program is needed to open your file. (eg. SWiSH 2.0 files cannot be opened in SWiSH 1.5).
Short Description: A short (preferably one sentence) description giving the viewer a slightly better idea of what your file is before they click on it.
Long Description: This will be displayed after the viewer selects your file, and it can be as long as you wish. This will be used to give a detailed and accurate description of what your file is.
Duration: This is only necessary for Audio Loops. The playtime (duration) of the loop in seconds. If you would like your Audio Loop to be presented in the standard Swish-Tutorials' example template (with volume control, file name, and author name) - feel free to write to the administrator and arrangements will be made.
